The Hollow Wyrm

• Role: The engine of the Sanatorium.
• Description: A massive dragon bound in iron blinders and infused with necrotic piping. It functions as the mechanical heart of the Architect's facility, generating the heat and power the operation runs on.

The Hollow Wyrm is the Architect's philosophy made flesh. A creature that should be the most fearsome thing in any hall has been blinded, plumbed, and reduced to infrastructure, a living boiler kept alive only to be drained. It does not rage or hoard. It labours, because that is all it has been left able to do, and its captivity says more about its captor than any threat could.
